Lions, and Tigers and Bears. Oh my!

Seen as I have a lot of time to kill in China, I've recently become addicted to re-looking old scenes from my life i.e going through old photos. I only started my blog in Feb 2012, so there are a lot of adventures which I have not posted or spoken about.  Therefore, I've decided to start a series of posts which focus on my favourite photos taken over the years.

South Africa is famous for it's wildlife and large open spaces where animals can roam freely (sort of).
Over the years I've been very fortunate to be able to experience the South African Bush with fabulous friends and family.

Having spent the better part of 2012 not in South Africa, I find myself missing the Bush and longing for its open spaces and close encounters with its majestic wildlife.

Also, bearing in mind that the term "Nature Conservation" has never reached the ears of China, I also miss living in a country that reveres and nurtures animals (for the most part).

Here are some of my favourite Wildlife pics taken over the years.

Elephants scare me the most - even though the are one of my favourite animals. I like to admire them from afar... because they are so big and can be very dangerous...
